List Notes: List is the Top 5 best bars in the world as selected by drinks international. The bars are voted for by an academy of 227 voters made up of bar industry insiders. Academy members must nominate the five best bars in the world according to their professional opinion. At least two of their votes must be international; the remaining three can be either from their own country or further international votes. The criteria are: academy members must not currently work in/won the bars they vote for, academy members should have visited the bars in the past two years and the bars must still be open as of voting time.
