List Notes: PISA is a three-yearly survey of the knowledge and skills of 15-year-olds in the principal
industrialized countries. The aim of the PISA report is to take a snapshot of the education
level of students from the most developed countries, allowing for an analysis of any improvement
or otherwise. For the 2006 study, 57 countries participated, 20 of which did so for the first time ever. Top 5 lowest levels of scientific knowledge are taken from the lowest rankings from the list of the 57 countries that participated in this survey.
