List Notes: Data is percentage of physically inactive people ranked by US state for the year 2019. Physical inactivity is defined as a person who does not get at least 30-60 minutes of aerobic exercise three to four times per week. For the purposes of this list, obesity is defined as an excessively high amount of body fat or adipose tissue in relation to lean body mass defined as BMI greater than the 95th percentile for age group.
